LOVEBOX ANNOUNCES BOOKA SHADE “MAKE UP” SHOW….
To make up for the interrupted show at the Lovebox Festival, The good people at Lovebox have invited Booka Shade back to play London’s Forum on September 10th. There is a limited number of Tickets available for sale on bookashade.com now with tickets going on General Sale later this week.
Here is the statement from Lovebox:
“If Lovebox 2010 proved anything, it’s that Booka Shade have a lot more fans in London than we realised. The number of people wanting to see them at the festival far exceeded the amount of people that could fit into the Relentless Arena. The decision of the safety authorities to shut down the tent was made for cautionary reasons and we share everyone’s frustration and disappointment at being denied the chance to enjoy the Booka Shade experience in full; but as we said already, we’d like to do something to make up for it.
With this in mind we are able to announce exclusively here that Booka Shade will be playing a special one off late license 2am affair at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town on Friday 10th September. Once they are gone they are gone, so get them quick.”

Lovebox Festival…..
For reasons completely out of our control, our set at the Lovebox Festival in London on Saturday was cut short due to crowd control problems outside the tent we were playing in. Unfortunately the venue was far too small for the amount of people that had come to see us play and the barriers outside the tent were pushed down. The security were unable to manage the situation and at this point the police decided to pull the plug for safety and licensing issues. We are very sorry we were not allowed to continue.
